Terms of Service for Guest and Enrolled Loan Payments

“Pay My Loan”

By using the Pay My Loan service, including the guest loan payment option and any enrollment features that allow recurring payments or access to loan-related information, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Service Description

The Pay My Loan service allows eligible borrowers of The Citizens National Bank of Quitman (“the Bank”) to make loan payments without logging into an online banking account.

You may use this service to:

  • Make a one-time guest loan payment;
  • Enroll in the Pay My Loan service;
  • Set up recurring loan payments, if available for your loan;
  • View certain loan-related information made available through the service; and
  • Manage payment methods or scheduled payments, subject to system availability and Bank requirements.

 

This service is intended for borrowers who wish to make payments or access limited loan payment features without establishing or accessing a full online banking profile.

2. Guest Payment Authorization

By submitting a one-time guest payment through this service, you authorize the Bank and its service providers to initiate a one-time debit from your selected payment method in the amount you specify.

You certify that:

  • The loan information you provide is accurate;
  • You are authorized to make payments on the loan;
  • You are an authorized user of the payment account or card being used; and
  • Sufficient funds are available at the time the payment is submitted.

 

A guest payment is a one-time payment authorization only. Your payment credentials will not be used for future payments unless you separately enroll in the service or otherwise provide authorization for future or recurring payments.

3. Enrollment and Recurring Payments

If you choose to enroll in the Pay My Loan service, you may be able to access additional features, including recurring payments and certain loan-related information. Enrollment in Pay My Loan does not create a full online banking profile and may not provide access to all account information, statements, documents, or services available through online banking.

By enrolling and setting up recurring payments, you authorize the Bank and its service providers to initiate recurring debits from your selected payment method according to the schedule, amount, and terms you select and confirm during setup.

Your recurring payment authorization will remain in effect until you cancel or modify it in accordance with the procedures made available through the service, or until the Bank terminates or suspends the authorization as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

You are responsible for reviewing the recurring payment details before confirming enrollment, including:

  • Payment amount;
  • Payment frequency;
  • Payment date;
  • Payment method;
  • Loan account to be paid; and
  • Any applicable fees or disclosures.

 

You are also responsible for maintaining accurate payment method information and ensuring that sufficient funds are available when each recurring payment is scheduled to process.

4. Changes or Cancellation of Recurring Payments

You may modify or cancel recurring payments through the Pay My Loan service or by contacting the Bank.

Changes or cancellations must be submitted far enough in advance to allow processing before the next scheduled payment date. A recurring payment that is already in process may not be able to be stopped or changed.

The Bank is not responsible for payments that process before a cancellation or change request has been received and processed.

5. Payment Processing Cutoff

Payments submitted by 4:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) on a business day, Monday through Friday, will generally be credited as of that business day.

Payments submitted after 4:00 PM ET, on weekends, or on federal holidays will generally be credited on the next business day.

Recurring payments scheduled for a weekend or federal holiday may be processed on the next business day or as otherwise disclosed during setup.

Your financial institution may take additional time to post the transaction to your payment account.

6. Fees

A non-refundable convenience fee of up to $5.00 may be charged for certain payments made through this service. Any applicable fee will be disclosed before you complete the transaction or authorize a recurring payment.

You may avoid this fee by setting up eligible recurring payments or by visiting a branch.

Fees, if applicable, are separate from your loan payment and may be charged in addition to the payment amount.

7. Returned, Declined, or Failed Payments

You are responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available in your payment account and that all payment information is accurate.

Returned, declined, failed, or reversed payments may result in late fees, returned payment fees, or other penalties as outlined in your loan agreement, applicable disclosures, and the terms of your financial institution.

A returned or failed recurring payment may result in suspension or cancellation of recurring payment privileges.

Returned payments may also affect the status of your loan account.

8. Loan Information Available Through the Service

If you enroll in Pay My Loan, you may be able to view certain loan-related information, such as payment amount, due date, payoff-related information, payment history, or other information made available through the service.

Information displayed through Pay My Loan may not reflect all account activity in real time. For official account information, payoff quotes, disputes, statements, or other account servicing questions, please contact the Bank directly.

Pay My Loan is not a substitute for full online banking access.

9. Privacy and Security

Information provided through this service is encrypted and handled in accordance with the Bank’s Privacy Policy, which can be found on the home page of our website.

The Bank and its service providers may retain information necessary to process payments, support enrollment, maintain recurring payment authorizations, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and provide customer support.

Full payment method information may be tokenized or otherwise securely stored by the Bank’s service provider if you enroll in recurring payments or choose to save a payment method.

You are responsible for keeping any login credentials, verification information, or access information associated with this service secure.

10. Limitations and Availability

This service is intended solely for loan payment and limited loan-related functions made available by the Bank.

This service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, technical disruptions, system updates, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances beyond the Bank’s control.

The Bank is not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions, delays, rejected payments, inaccurate information provided by you, or circumstances outside of the Bank’s reasonable control.

The Bank may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Pay My Loan service at any time, including in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, returned payments, inaccurate information, or security concerns.

11. Consent to Electronic Communications

By using this service, you consent to receive payment confirmations, enrollment confirmations, recurring payment notices, disclosures, notices, and related communications electronically.

You acknowledge that you have the ability to access, print, download, and retain electronic communications.

If you prefer to receive paper copies of communications, or if you wish to withdraw your consent to electronic delivery, please contact the Bank before using this service or before enrolling in recurring payments. Withdrawal of electronic consent may limit your ability to use certain features of the service.

You may print or save a copy of these Terms for your records.

12. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using this service.

You are responsible for:

  • Verifying loan and payment information before submitting a payment;
  • Maintaining sufficient funds in your payment account;
  • Updating expired, closed, or changed payment methods;
  • Monitoring scheduled recurring payments;
  • Reviewing confirmations and notices;
  • Contacting the Bank promptly if you identify an error or unauthorized transaction; and
  • Complying with your loan agreement and all applicable laws.

 

Use of this service does not change the terms of your loan agreement or your obligation to make timely payments.

13. Changes to Terms

The Bank reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue these Terms or the Pay My Loan service at any time, subject to applicable law.

Your continued use of the Pay My Loan service after any changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
